Dr. Yuni Xia received her PhD in Computer Science from Purdue University. She is an Associate Professor of Computer Science at Indiana University Indianapolis. She has over 17 years of teaching experience and received Indiana University Trustees Teaching Award twice. She is also a Digital Faculty Fellow at Indiana University – Indianapolis. She have published more than 60 papers and received the IBM Data Analysis Innovation Award and Real-time Innovation Award. She also has rich research experience in database, data mining and machine learning/AI. She is passionate about teaching children (and adults) Computer Science.
