AMC 10/12-美国高中数学竞赛备考班

• AMC 10和 AMC 12是美国数学会主办的两个针对10年级或12年级及以下学生的享有盛誉的高中数学竞赛，主要包含代数、几何、数论和概率四个方面。AMC 10始于2000年，AMC 12始于1950年代。仅2024年11月，全球范围内共有近300,000名学生参加了AMC 10和 AMC 12竞赛。 • AMC 10 和AMC 12的竞赛题型均为25道选择题，考试时间75分钟，满分都是150分，答对一题得6分，答错倒扣1.5分， 不答得0分， 不允许使用计算器。考试中获得150分满分，即可获得满分奖 Perfect Scores。 取得全球前1%，可获得全球卓越奖Distinguished Honor Roll；取得全球前5%，可获得全球优秀奖Honor Roll。8年级及以下学生在AMC 10 和AMC 12中获得90分以上， 即可获得全球荣誉奖Achievement Roll。
• 美国AMC数学测评系列被誉为”世界名校的通行证"。一些顶级名校的网上入学申请，如麻省理工大学、加州理工大学、卡耐基梅隆大学，常春藤大学都需要专门填写AMC10/12数学测评成绩，足见其对该奖项的重视。

每学期共12节课，每节课时长为80分钟。
 
AMC10/12 Prep Course

• The AMC 10 and AMC 12 are the most rigorous mathematics competitions covering mathematics through the 10th and 12th grade curriculum, respectively. AMC 10 begun in 2000, while AMC 12 started in the 1950s. In 2024 over 300,000 students participated in the AMC 10/12 competitions. • Both AMC 10 and AMC 12 are 25 questions, 75-minute multiple choice competitions in high school mathematics. The maximum score for both is 150. Calculators have not been allowed since 2008.
• Since 2002, two AMC 10/12's are offered annually (known as the AMC 10/12A and AMC 10/12B). Students are eligible to compete in an A competition and a B competition, (e.g., the AMC 10A and the AMC 12B), though they may not take both the AMC 10 and AMC 12 from the same date.
• Students who achieve 150 points will be awarded certificate of ‘Perfect Score’. Top 1% score students will be awarded certificate of ‘Distinguished Honor Roll’. Top 5% students will be awarded certificate of ‘Honor Roll, and AIME Invitation Certificate. For 8th graders or below who achieve 90 points or above, the students will be awarded certificate of ‘Achievement Roll’.
• The AMC 10/12 Prep Course is specifically designed for high school students to prepare for AMC 10 or AMC 12. It’s taught with the real and mock test questions in the past 10 years, and problem-solving strategies and tricks to lay solid foundation for outstanding students who aim to participate in the International Math Olympiad (IMO).

Registration for Math Competition Bootcamp (High School):
To participate in the Math Competition Bootcamp (High School) Class, students must register on the OCS registration site as soon as possible. Please note the following:

1. Limited spots available: Priority will be given to current OCS students and volunteers.
2. Registration required: Students must register before the class starts.
3. Tuition: The class fee is $200. Paid in full at registration.
4. No refunds: No withdrawals or refunds will be allowed after registered.
5. Benefit and discount for current OCS students and Full time volunteers: A $100 special discount will be applied up to the 1st day of class.

By registering, students acknowledge they have read and understood these terms.
The course comprises 12 sessions, each lasting 80 minutes.
The class will be starting on 8/17, 8/24, 9/7, 9/14, 9/21, 9/28, 10/5, 10/12, 10/19, 10/26, 11/2, Competition date (11/5).
