Henry Wang used to be an active USCF (United States Chess Federation) who played in tournaments not only in Ohio, but also Indiana and Pennsylvania. Henry’s chess teaching experience stems from his time volunteering at the Columbus Chess Academy where he taught and monitored kids in a summer chess camp. At his high school, Dublin Jerome, Henry is an officer for the chess club and is actively expanding the club through Instagram and other media. Henry is a part of the Ohio Chinese School Leadership Club in which he teaches students the basics of chess and is the homework helper.
Along with chess, Henry participates in a lot of activities including playing soccer( which he also teaches in the leadership club) and running track while also attending school clubs like Speech and Debate and Module UN. Henry enjoys watching sports, playing video games, and hanging out with friends.
